About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Avionics Electrical Harness Design and Analysis Engineer to join our In-Space Systems business unit. As part of our diverse team of engineering professionals, you will design, analyze, and test avionics routed interconnect systems for spacecraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and analyze electrical harness design in a cross-disciplinary team
  • Design and integrate electrical harnesses on space vehicles
  • Develop harness installation drawings and 2D flat harness drawings
  • Select and configure harness components and manage the eBOM
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience designing wire harnesses for the space and aerospace industry
  • Experience with Creo and Windchill, and routed systems or similar 3D software
  • Strong electrical/mechanical design and integration skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with CREO Schematics and/or ZUKEN software
  • Experience with routing and installing RF coax cable
  • Knowledge of harness fabrication and installation processes
