We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, and ensuring seamless transitions of care.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and prioritize patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, communicate effectively with patients and families, and ensure timely and accurate documentation.
- Provide high-quality patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and managing complex medical equipment.
- Identify and respond to early warning signs of patient deterioration, taking prompt action to prevent adverse outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices and policies.
- Current RN licensure in North Dakota or Compact State Agreement.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- PALS certification from the American Heart Association.
- NIH Stroke certification from the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses.
- Essentials of Critical Care Orientation (ECCO) certification from the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses.
- Experience working in an ICU or critical care setting.
- Knowledge of critical care nursing principles and practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
