Lead Surgical Technologist Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Surgical Technologist to join our team at Cambridge Health Alliance. As a Lead Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of surgical services and delivery of care to patients
  • Work under the supervision of the RN in delivering safe and effective care to patients
  • Request and use governing and administrative resources, technological and support systems, and multidisciplinary clinical experts necessary to manage and deliver quality, cost-effective patient care
  • Function as an expert with a specific surgical focus encompassing all aspects of patient/family care, including the availability and appropriateness of equipment, standards, and competencies
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician School or Program, including education in the developmental needs of adolescent through geriatric patient
  • CST Required
  • 2 years experience in an acute care hospital setting as a Surgical Technician
  • Other requirements will depend on type of unit specialties and/or current needs of the unit with a minimum of two years in specialty
  • Must possess demonstrated excellence in financial and computer skills and analytical skills necessary to gather and interpret quantitative and qualitative data
