Job Summary:

MMC-Memorial Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse II to join our Surgical Unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, coordinate, and deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health literacy and self-management.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that enhance patient care and safety.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current RN license in the state of practice.
  • 2 years of recent relevant Same Day Surgery experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and maintain a high level of productivity in a dynamic setting.
