Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our team at Premier Community Healthcare Grp. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and maintain continuity of care within our Family Medicine Departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Comprehensive Patient Care: Ensure comprehensive healthcare needs are identified and treated for age-specific populations, within the scope of practice and in accordance with our organization's policies.
  • Health Education and Promotion: Provide education and give health management information and illness prevention techniques for the promotion of community health.
  • Effective Communication: Communicate effectively with all members of the Care Team to ensure smooth handoffs and a positive patient experience.
  • Collaboration and Consultation: Consult and coordinate with healthcare providers working at any location.
  • Mentorship and Training: Mentor and train new providers or clinical support team members as needed.
  • Quality Assurance: Work in coordination with the Quality Assurance Team and management to develop and implement a quality assurance program.
  • Documentation and Confidentiality: Document in a timely fashion accurate accounts of interactions with patients in Electronic Health Records in compliance with our protocol, and ensure confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervise assigned APRNs and PAs in the conduct of clinical care and delegate authority and responsibility when and where needed.
Requirements
  • Medical Degree: Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Current Licenses: Current MD or DO License in Florida, Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) License, and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Board Certification: Board eligible or Board Certified preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of three (3) years' experience preferred.
  • Epic Certification: Obtain and maintain Epic certification/annual compliance throughout employment.

  5. Ability to travel between PCHG sites to provide coverage, if necessary.
