Job Title: Stroke Coordinator RN

At HCA Florida Northside Hospital, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care and promoting a culture of excellence. As a Stroke Coordinator RN, you will play a vital role in supporting our patients with strokes and promoting optimal care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement stroke care protocols and therapies to become the standard of care for the facility.
  • Collect, review, and analyze stroke outcome data to present to various committees and facility leadership.
  • Articulate the PDSA cycle and apply it to processes related to care of the stroke patient within the facility.
  • Work collaboratively with the Vice President of Quality and Patient Safety to complete West Florida Division and Corporate reporting requirements.
  • Maintain program according to Joint Commission/DNV standards and elements of performance.
Requirements:
  • Critical Care or ER experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with The Joint Commission, Medicare, and State requirements.
  • Extensive computer knowledge and experience required with emphasis on EMR, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and HPF applications.
