Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Junior Process Automation Engineer to join our team at Premier Group Recruitment. The ideal candidate will have experience in software engineering within .Net, VBA, C or Python, with a focus on improving and maintaining the reliability of automated production systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Implementation of new manufacturing and process equipment within an established production facility.
Design and programming for existing applications and HMI systems.
Maintaining Electrical equipment with a continuous improvement focus.
Supporting transition of VMS platforms to virtual and windows platforms.
Upgrading legacy equipment.
Liaising with colleagues on other engineering tasks and projects as required.

Requirements:

BS or MS in Computer, Software or Mechatronic Engineering.
1+ years of experience as an Automation Engineer within a manufacturing environment.
Hands-on Production line maintenance and implementation experience.
.Net (VB) experience.
DevOps experience.
Industry background within heavy manufacturing; i.e foundries, metalwork, mining etc.
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
