Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in maintenance, be capable of learning new skills quickly, and possess knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the safety and cleanliness of the hotel exterior grounds, pool, and exercise room.
  • Create a safe and attractive environment by ensuring the hotel meets safety standards.
  • Complete hotel room and building repairs, including replacing ceiling tiles, filters, lights bulbs, patching vinyl, and painting.
  • Develop plans for completing routine and preventative maintenance and renovations; coordinate work with department managers and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in maintenance.
  • Capable of learning new skills quickly.
  • Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems, including indoor pool.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge, including software such as Onity key programming machine.
  • Proficiency in English for effective communication within our team.
  • Able to use hand and mechanical tools to ensure safety and completion of tasks.
  • Must be able to lift heavy items up to 80lbs and operate heavy-duty equipment.
  • Must have own transportation to run hotel errands related to Maintenance department/hotel issues.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Estimated annual salary: $52,000 - $65,000, based on experience.
  • Hilton Discounts worldwide after 90 days of hire.
