Batch Plant Operator

As a Batch Plant Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of the batch plant equipment and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This includes conducting regular safety inspections, reporting any hazards or incidents to your supervisor, and communicating with plant management on all safety needs.
Job Duties
* Accurately proportion materials in batches to load into ready mix and/or asphalt material trucks.
* Work with Production, Transportation, and Dispatch departments regarding material delivery.
* Maintain accurate weight, measure, and billing information to ensure proper crediting to customer.
* Check inventory control of raw materials, additives, and/or specialized materials and notify appropriate suppliers of production needs.
* Ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations as it relates to the proper operation of batch plant equipment.
* Perform daily inspections of facilities and complete maintenance checklists.
* Operate a front-end loader when needed.
Requirements
* 2-4 years of batch plant experience highly preferred.
* Maintenance experience a plus.
* Experience working at an aggregates plant highly preferred.
* Ability to lift 50 lbs.
