Job Title: Ovation Vehicle Operator

We are seeking a skilled Ovation Vehicle Operator to join our team at Ovation, Inc. This role involves providing safe and efficient transportation services to our residents.

About the Position:

  • Drive assigned vehicle safely and courteously
  • Maintain defensive driving practices
  • Communicate effectively with residents and staff
  • Assist passengers, operate ramps, lifts, and securement devices as needed
  • Plan efficient routes using maps and driving directions
  • Present safety briefings to passengers before each trip
  • Regularly clean and maintain assigned vehicle(s)
  • Accurately record trips, vehicle maintenance, fuel purchases, incidents, and other relevant information
  • Perform minor vehicle maintenance tasks as required
  • Fuel assigned vehicles
  • Coordinate vehicle maintenance schedules to minimize disruptions
  • Respond to emergencies and provide first aid until help arrives
  • Be a positive role model while providing transportation services
  • Participate in community surveys and inspections as necessary
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 25 years old to drive company vehicles
  • Service experience is required
  • High school diploma or equivalent is the minimum requirement
  • Previous driving experience is preferred but not necessary
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required

Hourly Wage: The estimated hourly wage for this position is $16.50 based on the location in Washington, UT.
