Position Overview: Responsible for upholding the aesthetic standards of the community by executing tasks that maintain the cleanliness of the grounds, amenities, and interior spaces. This role may also involve occasional exterior cleaning duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness in all communal areas, including offices, amenities, and restrooms.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to collect litter and ensure all areas remain tidy.
  • Clear out trash and leftover items from unoccupied units before initiating the preparation process.
  • Perform thorough cleaning of vacant apartments to ensure they are ready for new residents.
  • Assist the Service Director and Community Director with assigned tasks and support the make-ready team.
  • Distribute notices and communications to residents as required.
  • Report any safety hazards or potentially dangerous situations to supervisors.
  • Exhibit strong customer service skills by engaging respectfully with residents and addressing their concerns.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and participate in routine safety meetings.
  • Meet attendance and punctuality expectations while fulfilling the physical demands of the role.

Organizational Duties:

  • Follow established policies and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Implement proper safety measures and report any equipment malfunctions or safety issues.
  • Identify areas for operational improvement and suggest enhancements.
  • Stay updated on industry standards and practices through training and information resources.

Work Schedule:

This position typically requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, with varying hours based on site operations.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience demonstrating knowledge of cleaning procedures and safe chemical usage.
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Ability to read and comprehend safety labels and procedural manuals.
  • Basic mathematical skills for completing essential tasks.
  • Logical reasoning skills to identify and resolve issues.
  • Basic computer skills for accessing company software.
  • A valid driver's license is required.

Work Environment:

Employees will work in various settings, both indoors and outdoors, and may encounter cleaning chemicals and varying weather conditions.

Physical Requirements:

Employees must be able to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, reaching, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance.
