About the Job

We are seeking a board-certified or truly board-eligible gastroenterologist with Delaware licensing to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing emergency department and inpatient consults, handling high volumes of patients, and performing routine procedures such as bread and butter procedures.

The selected professional will work at one location, providing 24-hour call coverage during shift times from 7:00 am to 7:00 am. They will also be responsible for conducting ERCP procedures if qualified. If not licensed in Delaware, they must possess an interstate medical licensure compact (IMLC).

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage emergency department and inpatient consults at one location.
  • Conduct high-volume patient care with approximately 38,000 Emergency Department visits annually.
  • Perform routine procedures including bread and butter procedures.
  • May conduct ERCP procedures if qualified.
Requirements
  • Board certified or truly board eligible in Gastroenterology.
  • Delaware licensure required; IMLC accepted if not currently licensed.
  • Medical license.
  • Controlled substance certification.
