Job Summary

The University of Miami is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of assigned University programs. This is a full-time staff position that requires a strong background in business and management principles, with a focus on delivering high-quality programs to faculty and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, implement, evaluate, and monitor organization-wide development programs.
  • Implement project plans related to the delivery of new and ongoing professional development programs.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure program efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Evaluate and measure the effectiveness of assigned programs.
  • Ensure operations are managed within authorized budgets.
  • Collect, manage, and report program data.
  • Develop and cultivate relationships and partnerships with external entities and organizations to further department functions.
  • Recruit, supervise, evaluate, and discipline department staff to ensure optimum performance.
  • Establish and continuously assess the effectiveness of internal controls within the unit and compliance with University policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent English and writing skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, and ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, work independently, be detail and deadline oriented.
  • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience working in Graduate Medical Education and familiarity with ACGME institutional requirements.
