About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Oncology Associate to join our team at Mount Sinai Health System. As a key member of our clinical office team, you will provide exceptional support to our physicians and surgeons, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical office support to physicians and surgeons, including patient care and administrative duties.
  • Perform patient care responsibilities, such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and collecting and processing specimens.
  • Assist with various procedures, including venipuncture and EKGs, and accompany patients to exam/procedure rooms as needed.
  • Manage patient flow, schedules, and medical records, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Enter orders into the electronic medical record (EMR) system and prepare prescription refill requests for physician review and approval.
  • Inventory, order, and restock medical supplies as needed, maintaining a safe and secure work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including scheduling surgeries/procedures, verifying patient information, and updating insurance details.
