Job Overview:
The Technology Transfer Manager will play a pivotal role within the Cell Therapy Development Operations & Services Portfolio Management Office. This position entails overseeing the strategic planning, execution, and successful delivery of technology transfer project objectives that align with the overarching goals and commitments of the organization. The projects will focus on technical aspects and support a product development program, emphasizing internal coordination of technology transfer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate internal technology transfer initiatives to guarantee smooth transitions throughout various development phases.
- Engage closely with development, manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory teams to synchronize technology transfer processes with project timelines and objectives.
- Exhibit strong leadership capabilities to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within financial constraints.
- Create and uphold comprehensive technology transfer plans, encompassing resource distribution, risk assessment, and timeline management.
- Lead cross-functional meetings to maintain alignment and address any technology transfer-related challenges or risks; participate in relevant project meetings as necessary.
- Track and report on the advancement of technology transfer activities, ensuring all milestones are achieved and any discrepancies are promptly resolved. Communicate status updates to organizational leadership, presenting viable solutions and opportunities as they arise.
- Act as the primary liaison for internal technology transfer coordination, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among all involved teams.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in project management and technology transfer coordination, demonstrating the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage intricate projects in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in biotech or life sciences project management; experience in cell therapy is preferred.
- Demonstrated cross-functional technology transfer experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM or Life Sciences-related field.
- Project management certification is a plus.
- Proficient in relevant software tools such as MS Project, Office Timeline Pro, Smartsheet, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, SharePoint, etc.
- Strong understanding of the biopharmaceutical industry, with familiarity in end-to-end CMC drug development.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions, maintaining strong relationships with business partners.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to positively influence outcomes.
- Expertise in conflict resolution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to adapt and respond to the needs of a dynamic work environment.
