Key Responsibilities:

  • Creates high-quality visual content such as graphs, charts, illustrations, and photographs.
  • Designs page layouts and integrates text documents into visually appealing formats; may also involve creating web graphics.
  • Produces technical illustrations for academic presentations and publications.
  • Records and edits video content featuring faculty, staff, and students for various projects.
  • Collaborates with faculty and staff to assess graphic needs, budget considerations, and project timelines.
  • Manages the printing process to ensure high-quality output, including selecting materials and reviewing proofs.
  • Writes and revises basic content, which may include press releases and outreach communications.
  • May oversee a digital graphics library and maintain organized records.
  • Provides technical support for software installations and may assist in website design.
  • Completes additional job-related tasks as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Understanding of graphic design principles and practices.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in creating graphic and video content using various tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with graphic layout and photographic standards.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities to engage with a diverse community.
  • Experience with graphic design software, particularly within the Adobe suite.
  • Capability to interpret graphic and technical information and produce illustrative content.
