Position Overview

At Aramark, we are dedicated to providing exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our clients. We are currently seeking a Cashier to play a vital role in our operations. This position is essential for ensuring smooth transactions and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

The Cashier will be responsible for:

  • Efficiently operating the register/POS system and managing cash and credit card transactions.
  • Welcoming and assisting customers while proactively addressing their needs.
  • Counting, organizing, and reconciling the cash drawer, completing necessary documentation, and making deposits.
  • Adhering to Aramark's cash handling policies and procedures to maintain accuracy and security.
  • Possessing comprehensive knowledge of merchandise to assist customers and process transactions accurately.
  • Executing opening and closing procedures as assigned based on operational hours.
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment throughout service and at the end of each shift.
  • Ensuring that products are stocked appropriately during service and replenishing items as necessary.
  • Following all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Previous experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Experience in cash handling is preferred.
  • Basic math and counting skills are essential.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Completion of Food Handler and Alcohol Service training as required by the location.

This role may involve physical demands, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing. Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
