We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Housekeeper to join our team of dedicated caregivers at The Lodge of the Wabash in Vincennes, IN.

Estimated Salary: $30,000 - $40,000 per year

Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently with minimal supervision, and have a strong commitment to providing exceptional care to residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain resident rooms, common areas, and facilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to resident care planning
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Less than high school education or equivalent experience/training
  • Prior housekeeping experience in an institutional setting preferred
  • Excellent patience, tact, and a cheerful disposition
  • Ability to relate information concerning a resident's condition to supervisors or nurses
