Concorde Education is seeking a skilled and passionate Cake Decoration Instructor to join our team.
About the JobThis role plays a crucial part in fostering a hands-on, engaging learning environment where students can express their creativity and build confidence in their abilities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a cake decoration curriculum tailored to the needs and interests of the students.
- Lead cake decoration sessions, teaching skills such as icing techniques, fondant shaping, piping, and themed designs.
- Create a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment.
- Evaluate student progress and adapt lessons to accommodate varying skill levels.
- Cultivate a classroom atmosphere of collaboration, encouragement, and creative exploration.
- Instructional Skills: Ability to design and implement a curriculum that is age-appropriate, engaging, and educational.
- Technical Skills: Strong expertise in cake decoration techniques, including piping, fondant shaping, color blending, and sculpting.
- Creativity: A strong sense of creativity to inspire and guide students in their designs.
- Communication Skills: Clear verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey instructions and provide feedback.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities. Must be open to receiving feedback and making adjustments accordingly.
We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will receive benefits, including paid time off, health insurance, and professional development opportunities.
