Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team at Soliant. As a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality therapy services to students with speech and language disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in implementing individualized therapy plans for students with speech and language disorders.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, focusing on improving their articulation, fluency, language comprehension, and other communication skills.
  • Support the SLP in conducting assessments and evaluations to track students' progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
  • Work with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities and daily routines.
  • Document student progress, including maintaining accurate and confidential records.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as required.
  • Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure high-quality and effective therapy services.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders or a related field.
  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license in Washington State.
  • Experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
