Position Overview:
As a Cybersecurity Offensive Specialist at AMSYS Innovative Solutions, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our digital assets by proactively identifying vulnerabilities and enhancing our security measures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct simulated attacks on the organization's systems, applications, and infrastructure to uncover potential vulnerabilities that could be exploited by malicious entities.
- Design and implement penetration testing scenarios, social engineering assessments, and comprehensive vulnerability evaluations.
- Document and report security weaknesses and vulnerabilities within the organization's security framework.
- Propose effective mitigation strategies and collaborate with the IT department to enforce security protocols that defend against potential threats.
- Engage with fellow cybersecurity professionals to develop and refine offensive security tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Remain informed about the latest cybersecurity threats, attack methodologies, and tools to ensure the organization’s defenses are robust and current.
- Work in conjunction with IT and other departments to identify and prioritize critical assets and infrastructure that necessitate enhanced protection.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
- Relevant industry certifications such as OSCP, GPEN, CEH, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in offensive security, penetration testing, or red teaming.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and web applications.
- Familiarity with tools including Metasploit, Nmap, Burp Suite, and Kali Linux.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Capability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.
