What does the role entail?

Engineering Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates and applies knowledge of engineering principles relevant to MW&T
  • Operates with minimal supervision to accomplish assigned projects, which may include:
  • Work Measurements, Standard Time Data Systems, and Predetermined Motion Time Systems
  • Material handling equipment
  • Facility layouts
  • Process and technology enhancements
  • Executes projects that require collaboration with H-E-B Manufacturing Operations, Human Resources, Industrial Safety, Digital teams, and more
  • Communicates effectively and collaborates with all management levels, hourly partners, external vendors, and prospective clients
What is your background?

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 2 years of industrial engineering experience
  • Proficiency in PC software, particularly MS Office Suite
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and work measurement software tools
  • Experience with ERP, MEW, LMS, WMS, or other facility management systems (preferred)
