Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse to join our team at Cynet Health. As a Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

The Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse will perform scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring/recording duties in adult cardiac catheterizations, cardiac devices, electrophysiology, and/or structural heart procedures. You will ensure complete and accurate documentation, medication, charge, and reporting accuracy of daily procedural case loads. Additionally, you will provide emergent care as needed and perform administrative tasks including ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, ensuring maintenance of equipment, and cleanliness of the lab.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring/recording duties in adult cardiac catheterizations, cardiac devices, electrophysiology, and/or structural heart procedures.
  • Ensure complete and accurate documentation, medication, charge, and reporting accuracy of daily procedural case loads.
  • Provide emergent care as needed and perform administrative tasks including ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, ensuring maintenance of equipment, and cleanliness of the lab.
  • Maintain preparedness of procedure rooms and ensure compliance with local and federal regulations.
  • Work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility required.
  • Attend orientation in the first week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, including EPIC training.
  • Required to float within the facility and alternate locations within 20 miles of the permanent assigned location.
  • Must follow all relevant guidelines, maintaining privacy and confidentiality.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of current experience in Cardiac Cath Lab required.
  • Prefer 3 years of experience in adult Cath lab diagnostic, interventional, or EP procedures.
  • Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
  • RN licensure required.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required.
  • Active scrub tech certification, detailed knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, disease processes, and principles of cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional technology.
