Job Summary

Draken International is seeking a skilled Avionics Technician to maintain and operate the largest fleet of commercial tactical military fighter jets. The ideal candidate will have experience with 3rd and 4th generation Avionics technology, including 1553 MUX systems, VHF/UHF, advanced RADAR systems, and multiple offensive/defensive systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and supervise Avionics work on former military fighter aircraft
  • Accurately interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, wiring diagrams, system schematics, drawings, and engineering orders
  • Maintain storage management systems and captive carry training weapons and weapons release systems
  • Integrate and modernize new technologies into legacy aircraft
  • Travel on TDY schedule
Requirements
  • High School/GED
  • Fighter Jet Experience preferred
  • At least 5 years of related Avionics Technician experience
  • Ability to travel on TDY assignments
  • Ability to work various shifts
  • Working knowledge of aircraft safety directives, aircraft/vehicle movement, flight line operations, and aircraft technical orders
  • Working knowledge of computers and some computer software
  • Obtain and maintain aircraft/equipment Red X/IPI certification
  • Obtain and maintain security clearance
  • Meet ITAR compliance requirements
