Responsibilities:

  • Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled residents
  • Monitor and report changes in residents' symptoms or behaviors to their responsible party and physician
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians regarding resident care
  • Educate residents about health maintenance and disease prevention
  • Communicate resident care updates to other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate resident medical records
  • Provide advice and emotional support to residents and their family
  • Administer resident medications and complete treatments as prescribed by residents' physicians safely and thoroughly
  • Be efficient with electronic medication administration records
  • Supervise care and activities on all neighborhoods

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields, preferably in long term settings
  • Familiarity with medical software and equipment
  • Ability to build rapport with residents, families, visitors, and all team members
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced changing environment
  • Proven attendance record
