The Cage Cashier/Player Services Representative is a key member of the Newport Racing & Gaming team, responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences and ensuring a favorable gaming environment. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Services: Responsible for redeeming tickets and vouchers, exchanging chips, and performing check cashing and cash advance transactions in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Financial Management: Accurately count and record assigned funds, make exchanges with the vault, and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
  • Security and Compliance: Verify and document personal identification information for check and cash advance transactions, and ensure the safety and security of employees and guests.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete CTRs, W2Gs, and MTLs, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 6 months of cashiering or banking experience preferred.
  • Licensing: Must be able to obtain a license to work at the facility from the regulatory body.

Availability: Available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
