About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Plant Electrician to join our team at Seneca Foods Corporation in Leicester, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production facility's electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain and repair electrical equipment, including motors, generators, and switchgear.
  2. Install and test new electrical systems and components.
  3. Evaluate and improve electrical system designs to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  4. Work collaboratively with other departments to resolve electrical-related issues.

Requirements:

  • 2-year vocational degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in industrial electrical work, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary and Benefits:

The annual salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a retirement plan with company match.
