Seneca Foods offers an excellent benefit package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K, paid time off and much more Help us make our Farm Fresh Goodness GreatResponsibilities: Background in commercial, industrial and residential wiring capable of working with electricity from 12 to 480 volts, AC DC and all electrical control symptoms.Installing & maintaining plant equipment to meet specifications & regulations.Repair & trouble shooting of electrical wiring, PLC's, controllers, lighting controls & electrical motors in a production environment.Update ARC Flash, prints/drawings, cabinets & breaker information as changes are being made.Maintain cost control over equipment & supplies for budget.Ensure that General Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), safety rules & regulations are being followed & enforced.Ability to work with outside vendors/contractors when necessary.Work in other areas of plant when directed by immediate supervisor or by supervisor in charge.Ability to work overtime during busy season or when directed by supervisor.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:  2-year vocational electrical degree and/or previous experience in 480/3 phase.Good electrical mechanical repair & trouble shooting skills.Good communication skills.Willingness & ability to work & function in a team environment.Ability to follow all PPE standards and to climb ladders, twist, bend squat, kneel, crawl into awkward spaces, prolonged periods of standing and walking.Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.; use proper lifting techniques, get help if more than 50lbs.Follow LO/TO procedures and Confined Space procedures as required.Attention to detail & accuracy.  Seneca Foods Corporation is committed to providing equal opportunity for all, through a positive and continuing affirmative action program.
