We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Specialist to join our team at Willamette Education Service District. As a Speech and Language Specialist, you will work with our Early Learning Department to provide support to students with communication disorders. This is a full-time position with a 190-day calendar, and you will be based at one of our multiple sites located in Marion, Yamhill, and Polk Counties.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the needs of students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in speech and language therapy.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Valid Oregon teaching license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with students with communication disorders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
