The ONeil Search Group is a dynamic law firm seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their San Francisco office.
In this role, you will work closely with attorneys to manage litigation case files, prepare court filings, and conduct research.
You will also interact with outside entities to gather information and coordinate activities in support of upcoming depositions, trials, and arbitrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage litigation case files, including electronic and hard copy documentation.
- Create and implement case management systems, including calendaring and discovery-related tasks.
- Assist attorneys with document reviews, preparation of privilege logs, and other tasks.
- Understand and utilize e-filing processes with state and federal courts and agencies.
- Prepare and file court documents, including pleadings and discovery indexes.
- Draft and review routine legal documents as requested by attorneys.
- Conduct research under attorney supervision.
- Interact with outside entities to gather information or coordinate activities.
- Maintain effective working relationships with others to facilitate a positive work environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience at a law firm preferred.
- Familiarity with all stages of litigation, including intake, discovery, and trial.
- Experience using Relativity document hosting database.
- Knowledge of litigation support software, including LiveNote and CaseMap.
- Strong knowledge of bluebooking and cite checking briefs.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
