Job Summary

At VSP Vision, we're dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and quality eyewear to our patients. We're seeking a skilled Reception - Technician to join our team at Optical Outlets.

This role is responsible for assisting patients, supporting the Doctor and Office Manager, and ensuring excellent patient flow.

Main Responsibilities

Attract and retain customers by providing unsurpassed customer service

Greet customers and explain the process and exam pricing in a transparent way

Check-in and pretest patients in an efficient and accurate manner

Ensure insurance is properly verified prior to Doctor encounter

Answer phones properly and in a timely manner

Assist in other areas of the office as necessary, including dispensing eyewear

Requirements

One to two years of experience in a related field

Working knowledge of MS Office package

Effective verbal communication skills to prioritize multiple tasks and to be available for incoming calls and inquiries

Excellent interpersonal and rapport-building skills
