Job Title: Resident Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Assistant to join our team at KORU HEALTH LLC. As a Resident Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing personal care and delegated nursing services to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with personal cares, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as assigned.
  • Provide medication administration or assistance with self-administration of medications as delegated by RN.
  • Observe residents and report changes in physical and emotional condition to LPN/RN.
  • Participate in all fire safety and disaster preparedness drills in a safe and professional manner.
  • Adhere to the Resident Bill of Rights and protect residents' confidentiality.
Requirements:
  • Three to four years of high school, basic everyday living skills, and the ability to understand and follow directions.
  • The ability to read, write, add, and subtract.
  • A sincere interest in resident-centered care and the ability to work well with people.
  • Honesty, loyalty, neatness, and a cheerful disposition.

Working Conditions:

Occupational exposure to blood, other potentially infectious materials, and behavior of tenants will occur. Exposure to environmental conditions, including dust, fumes, gases, and marked changes in temperature and humidity, will also occur.

Equipment Used:

Medical equipment, such as patient lifting devices, blood pressure cuffs, and stethoscopes, as well as personal protective equipment, such as gloves, gowns, masks, and goggles or shields.
