Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Occupational Therapists in developing and implementing comprehensive care plans for patients
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, ensuring a high level of compassion and understanding
  • Monitor and document patient progress and outcomes, facilitating effective communication among healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care, promoting a seamless treatment experience
  • Conduct therapy sessions in various settings, including clinics, medical imaging departments, home health, and acute care facilities
Requirements:
  • Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, with a focus on occupational health practices
  • Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred, but not required
  • Ability to provide compassionate patient care, with a focus on delivering exceptional outcomes
