Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Radiologist to join our team at the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada. As a Diagnostic Radiologist, you will be responsible for interpreting medical images and providing expert diagnoses to patients. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret medical images, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs, to diagnose a wide range of medical conditions.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients based on their medical images and diagnoses.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques to provide the highest level of care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure that our medical imaging services meet the highest standards.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited medical school and completion of a radiology residency program.
  • Board certification in radiology or a related field.
  • At least three years of experience as a radiologist, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
