Position Summary:We are seeking a skilled Vascular and Interventional Radiologist to enhance and expand our interventional radiology services. This role presents an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic practice within a thriving healthcare community.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform a variety of interventional procedures including DVT/PE management, treatment of varicose veins and venous reflux, embolizations, and peripheral arterial/venous interventions.
- Manage IVC filters, GU/GI interventions, kyphoplasty, and other standard interventional radiology techniques.
- Interpret imaging studies such as CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and X-ray.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding procedures and associated risks.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a residency in diagnostic radiology.
- Fellowship training in interventional radiology.
- Board certification or eligibility in both diagnostic and interventional radiology.
- Active, unrestricted medical license to practice in the state.
- Current DEA license.
