About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team at Mountain View School District. As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for creating an inclusive learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of students with special requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement personalized lesson plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and coordination between general education and special education classrooms
- Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress and development
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have a valid Special Education certificate, as well as current Act 114, 34, and 151 clearances. A strong understanding of curriculum design, instructional strategies, and assessment techniques is essential.
