At Advantage Consulting Group, we are seeking an exceptional Controller Lead to join our team. As a Controller Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to lead the accounting team, manage financial operations, and support strategic decision-making to enhance organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  • Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Analyze variances and provide insights to management.
  • Collaborate with department heads to prepare departmental budgets.

Accounting Operations:

  • Manage the day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
  • Oversee tax compliance and prepare tax returns.

Internal Controls:

  • Design and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Compensation: $100,000 - $130,000 depending on experience.
