**About the Role**

The County of Mendocino is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy District Attorney III to join our team. As a key member of our office, you will be responsible for the preparation, filing, and prosecution of criminal misdemeanor and felony cases.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Prepare and file criminal cases in a timely and efficient manner
  • Conduct investigations and gather evidence to support case prosecution
  • Represent the County in court and present cases to juries and judges
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders to ensure effective case management
  • Stay up-to-date with changing laws and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices

**Requirements**

  • JD degree from an accredited law school
  • Active Bar card
  • At least two years of experience as a practicing attorney at a level equivalent to Deputy District Attorney II
