Seeking a highly skilled Deputy District Attorney III to join our team at the Mendocino County District Attorney's Office.



Job Summary:

As a Deputy District Attorney III, you will be responsible for preparing, filing, and prosecuting criminal misdemeanor and felony cases. You will also provide assistance to department staff and work closely with law enforcement agencies to ensure justice is served.



Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and file criminal complaints and charges
  • Conduct investigations and gather evidence
  • Represent the County in court proceedings
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies to ensure effective prosecution
  • Provide assistance to department staff as needed


Requirements:

A JD degree and active Bar card are required. Additionally, two years of experience as a practicing attorney at a level equivalent to Deputy District Attorney II is necessary.
