Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer Intern to join our team at K-Line Industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of engineering projects
  • Modify and create engineering drawings using CREO CAD software
  • Design and reverse engineer fixtures and tooling
  • Rationalize and identify packaging for part numbers and incorporate into routing notes
  • Create weld process drawings for all weldments

Requirements:

  • Working toward a B.S. degree in Engineering or Design
  • Strong mechanical design aptitude
  • Strong literacy with Microsoft Office suite
  • Interpersonal and mechanical aptitude necessary to deal effectively with a variety of tasks

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment with occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts and moderate noise levels.

Physical Demands:

The employee is regularly required to talk and hear, frequently required to sit, and occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

Education and Experience:

1. Must be working toward a B.S. degree in Engineering or Design
