We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mohs Histotechnician to join our team at Schweiger Dermatology Group. As a Mohs Histotechnician, you will play a critical role in preparing tissue specimens for pathological examination, maintaining laboratory equipment, and performing routine histology procedures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Preparing tissue specimens for pathological examination
• Maintaining laboratory equipment and training in the use of new equipment
• Performing routine histology procedures, including staining and placing tissue on slides
• Preparing solutions required for histological examination
• Ensuring a safe environment in the lab according to OSHA standards
• Maintaining quality control logs for slide review and patient identification system

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A valid Histotechnician License (may be required based on state guidelines)
• A Bachelor's Degree
• Applicable State Department of Professions Registration Certificate
• Excellent interpersonal and human relations skills
• Ability to operate a personal computer and approach problems/decisions analytically
• Ability to maintain records and adhere to established departmental service standards
