Security Officer

We are seeking a skilled Security Officer to join our team at our Dracut facility. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical security and safety of employees, facilities, and assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of highly regulated environments and excellent communication skills.

1. Deploy emergency procedures and update plans as necessary.
2. Provide feedback on improving building safety and security.
3. Conduct daily inspections of the facility, security cameras, and alarms.
4. Maintain visitor logs and other assigned records.
5. Monitor alarms, cameras, and primary contacts on call lists.
6. Main security system integrity, codes, and functionality.
7. Validate and accompany visitors against manifests.
8. Assist with vendor relationships and client management.
9. Support employees and clients in various situations.
10. Write incident reports and communicate concerns to management.
11. Prevent crisis escalation by intervening and counseling employees and/or clients.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree preferred but not necessary.
• Advanced training or certification in safety and security desirable.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field (highly regulated).
• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Proficiency with Windows 10 and basic computer navigation.

The estimated salary for this position is $18.00 per hour, with opportunities for growth and professional development.
