About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a Mobile Imaging Specialist. As a key member of our DispatchHealth Management team, you will be responsible for performing mobile diagnostic imaging procedures in a variety of settings and locations to support the diagnostic and treatment of disease and injuries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Mobile Diagnostic Imaging Procedures: Travel to various locations, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, correctional institutions, and residential homes, to perform portable x-rays and EKG exams.
  • Operate Portable Radiologic Equipment: Safely operate portable radiologic equipment at patient's bedside or other designated exam settings.
  • Collect and Verify Patient Information: Collect and verify all required order documentation and patient information prior to procedures.
  • Prepare and Position Patients: Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging exams.
  • Process and Transmit Images: Process images and review them for diagnostic quality prior to transmission.
  • Maintain Equipment and Records: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment, and maintain records, visit logs, and reports of work performed.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Act professionally and exhibit courtesy, friendliness, and a positive attitude when interacting with patients, patient's family, client staff, physicians, and others.
Requirements
  • State-Specific and Federal Requirements: Meet all state-specific and federal requirements to perform portable x-rays, including registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist RT (R).
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid state-issued driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds, and walk up and down stairs easily while carrying equipment.
  • Varied Schedule: Ability to work a varied schedule that may require evenings, holidays, and weekends.
