Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at the Substance Abuse Treatment Facility in Corcoran, CA. As a Medical Assistant, you will provide support to the Telepresenter in a variety of healthcare settings, including clinics and on-site correspondence. You will assist with preparing patients, administrative support, and care coordination between Telehealth and on-site staff.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with Telehealth clinic visits, including preparing patients and administrative support
  • Provide support to the mental health care team for daily operations
  • Assist with on-site correspondence and care coordination between Telehealth and on-site staff
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Possession of a valid certificate from an agency approved by the Department of Consumer Affairs, Medical Board of California to practice as a Medical Assistant
  • Active certification status prior to appointment into the classification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Working Conditions

This position is located at the Substance Abuse Treatment Facility in Corcoran, CA. The working conditions are typical of a healthcare setting, with occasional exposure to infectious diseases and hazardous materials.
