Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in product design evaluations for Vocational products to streamline the transition from concept to production.
  • Propose and execute methods, processes, or layout modifications to minimize costs, enhance quality, and broaden manufacturing capabilities.

Primary Duties (may vary based on project):

  • Oversee the mechanical design of manufacturing fixtures from initial concept through to execution.
  • Provide manufacturing engineering assistance to Vocational project teams.
  • Support the launch of Crimped Wrap, Steerable, and Universal Bolt-On frame bracket products.
  • Maintain and revise manufacturing/tooling documentation.
  • Offer remote support to Hendrickson Trailer production facilities.
Additional responsibilities as assigned.

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline. Preference for Junior or Senior students.
  • Availability for full-time work (40-hour weeks) during the Co-Op Term.
  • Strong oral, written, and computer skills are essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities are required.
  • Experience with 3D modeling in CREO/ProE is advantageous.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 is required.
