Senior Manufacturing Engineering Specialist

The Senior Manufacturing Engineering Specialist is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating manufacturing processes for medical device products. This role requires a strong understanding of quality standards and practices, as well as the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures to ensure quality and efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve existing product designs and processes
- Design, develop, and implement new equipment and processes to improve yield and reduce cycle time
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to manufacturing processes and equipment
- Develop and maintain documentation and procedures related to manufacturing processes
- AS degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field
- Knowledge of medical device quality standards and practices
- Ability to use machine shop equipment and 3D CAD software
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks effectively. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
