About the Opportunity
This role is with a successful distribution company that is steadily expanding and seeking a Financial Operations Specialist to support over 800 employees in multiple states.
Overview of Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices, manage payroll processing for employees biweekly and monthly, and oversee payroll for multiple states ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Review employee deductions, maintain confidentiality and integrity of employee information in the payroll system, and configure the system for open enrollment.
Requirements
- Five years of experience processing payroll preferably for multiple locations, thorough knowledge of US, federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Strong attention to detail, proficiency with a major payroll software, and capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
Benefits and Compensation
