Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at The Proud Bird. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails and beverages to guests
  • Check identification of customers and ensure they meet the minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcohol and tobacco products
  • Be friendly and attentive to guests, making them feel welcome at all times
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning equipment
  • Operate a Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions and manage cash handling
  • Balance and secure all moneys at the end of shift
  • Participate in and pass alcohol awareness and safety training classes
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 1 year of experience in a bar or restaurant environment preferred
  • Food Handler Certificate required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds
