About the Role

The Oak View Group is seeking a highly skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing various facility maintenance tasks related to carpentry.


Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repair of doors, hardware, millwork, seats, furniture, and associated equipment.
  • Concrete Work: Cut, pour, and level concrete as needed.
  • Tool Knowledge: Possess knowledge of essential tools and equipment used in the field of carpentry.
  • Task Management: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately maintain records of labor time, parts used, and work accomplished.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform all corrective and preventive maintenance for carpentry-related projects.
  • OSHA Compliance: Familiarity with OSHA requirements.
  • Productivity Tracking: Track daily productivity via allocation sheets, daily logs, and micro main.
  • Communication: Clearly and effectively communicate work issues with staff.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in general carpentry installation and repair of doors, millwork, and related building systems.
  • Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent recommended.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate attention to detail.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Availability: Must be able to report for emergencies as needed and have open availability to work long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic preventive maintenance programs.
