Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repair of doors, hardware, millwork, seats, furniture, and associated equipment.
- Concrete Work: Cut, pour, and level concrete as needed.
- Tool Knowledge: Possess knowledge of essential tools and equipment used in the field of carpentry.
- Task Management: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Record Keeping: Accurately maintain records of labor time, parts used, and work accomplished.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform all corrective and preventive maintenance for carpentry-related projects.
- OSHA Compliance: Familiarity with OSHA requirements.
- Productivity Tracking: Track daily productivity via allocation sheets, daily logs, and micro main.
- Communication: Clearly and effectively communicate work issues with staff.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in general carpentry installation and repair of doors, millwork, and related building systems.
- Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent recommended.
- Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrate attention to detail.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Availability: Must be able to report for emergencies as needed and have open availability to work long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic preventive maintenance programs.
