Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team at Soliant. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students' emotional, social, and academic development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Develop Individualized Support Plans: Develop and implement individualized support plans and interventions based on assessment results to promote students' academic and personal growth.
  • Provide Counseling and Therapy: Provide counseling and therapy to students to address emotional, social, and behavioral challenges.
  • Collaborate with School Personnel: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support students' academic and personal growth.
  • Develop Mental Health Programs: Develop and deliver programs to promote mental health awareness and prevent bullying.
  • Participate in IEP and 504 Plan Development: Participate in the creation and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 plans.
  • Maintain Confidential Records: Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and student progress.
  • Provide Crisis Intervention: Provide crisis intervention and support for students in urgent situations.
  • Engage in Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and new developments in the field.
Requirements
  • Doctoral or Master's Degree: Doctoral or Master's degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Valid Massachusetts School Psychologist License: Valid Massachusetts School Psychologist License.
